Travel Voucher Rules, Regulations, & Draw Procedures

MCS $5000 CAD Travel Voucher Raffle Official Rules, Regulations & Draw Procedures.

1. All ticket entry purchases are final & non-refundable. Raffle Tickets are NOT transferable.

2. Entry to the Raffle is available only to persons over the age of 18. You may be asked, at any stage, to provide proof of age and /or identity. Purchasers of the raffle tickets must legibly write their full legal name, e-mail and/or telephone number on each individual ticket stub.

3. Tickets may be purchased by legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec.

4. Prize of $5000 CAD travel voucher. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Raffle is void where prohibited.

5. A maximum of 1000 tickets will be sold. Raffle winner will be determined by a random drawing.

6. Tickets can be purchased with cash or cheque, credit card can only be used in person at MCS, 45 Bruce St. during business hours.

7. Ticket sales will commence on February 18, 2020 and will cease either when 1000 tickets sold or at the time of draw on May 29th, 2021.

8. The draw will be held on May 29, 2021 in Milton at our drive-in movie family event at 555 Steeles Avenue E., or live, virtually according to COVID-19 guidelines.

9. Participants DO NOT have to be present at the draw, winner will be contacted.

10. Winners agree to allow MCS to publish their names and photographs on the MCS website and Facebook page.

11. The winner of this raffle must claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of the drawing. If not claimed within 14 days by responding to phone or written notice by MCS the prize will be forfeited, & new winning ticket will be drawn where the same rules and regulations will be applied.

12. Winner will purchase & book travel trip themselves within one (1) calendar year, & submit receipt to MCS for reimbursement, no more than the allotted winning amount of voucher $5000 CAD, no later than 2 (two)months after booking and paying for ticket.

13. Winner specifically acknowledges that winner shall be responsible for the payment of all tax, title fees, license fees, insurance requirements and other charges as may be required under any law, ordinance, statute, regulation or otherwise.

14. MCS employees & Board members are eligible to buy and win raffle tickets.

15. By entering the Raffle, each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Alcohol & gaming Commission of Ontario.

16. Purchase of raffle ticket is NOT a donation. No tax receipt will be issued for any portion of the price of a Lottery Ticket.

17. All unsold tickets must be returned to Milton Christian School otherwise cost of tickets will be charged to the owner of the numbered tickets

About purchasing and selling tickets

Current MCS families are able to sell raffle tickets to their friends and family members. Each family was given 5 tickets in February 2020 to sell and can request more if needed. Families, please return your raffle envelope, collected cash and any unsold raffle tickets to the school office by May 28th (or sooner if possible).

MCS can accept e-transfer payments for raffle ticket purchases. Please indicate “raffle” in the transaction notes.
